World Vision China's five-year campaign "It Takes A World to End Violence Against Children”uses INSPIRE as a framework for action. INSPIRE's Seven Strategies are

  • Implementation and enforcement of laws
  • Promotion of positive norms and values
  • Building safe environments
  • Parent and caregiver support
  • Income and economic strengthening
  • Strengthen response and support services
  • Support education and life skills

INSPIRE's Seven Strategies are closely related to children's own rights and needs. World Vision China has used INSPIRE's Seven Strategies to launch children participation activities in Yunnan and Shaanxi provinces, to enable children to recognize and participate in activity implementation and course of action in ending violence against children. By understanding the needs of child protection from the perspective of children, children's participation made this action more suitable to local context.

INSPIRE's Seven Strategies serve as a guiding framework for joint action in different areas to ending violence against children and for everyone work together to create an environment that protects and supports all children, especially those in need.

Building on INSPIRE's Seven Strategies, World Vision China will work with partners in continuing the “It Takes A World to End Violence Against Children” Campaign for child protection and to enable children to grow in a safe environment.
